Chuck,
Hello. You don't know me but I hope you allow me to share a quick story witcha. Back in the day when snowboarding was still in it's infancy we crossed paths. I was riding one of your yellow banana boards (prototype)one day with my friend Doug up at Mt. Pinos. Ha! That's going way, way back! As I was hiking back up (yes, Hiking!) the hill here comes Doug in that deep pow and decides that pointing it is the way to go. So he's flying down this steep face and at one point takes the tumble of Wide World of Sports porportions. And tumbles and tumbles. And wouldn't you know it, there in that most amazing environment we just happen to see the dudes that were responsible for the blades we were blowing our minds on. I'm sure if you dig deep enough you just might remember that day. Pinos will always remain in my memory as the starting point for my snow shredding and that day we left the mountain feeling pretty good about ourselves. There you have it. I hope you enjoyed my little story . When I save a couple of duckets I'm gonna pick up one of your longboard skates 'cause I rode one recently and it gave me a big smile.
Still in the water, the snow, and the asphalt. Stoked!
All the best,
